Pregnancy and fertility

Pregnancy and fertility

Pregnancy is a special time for most women but it can bring unwelcome aches and pains, heartburn, constipation, tiredness and sickness. Reflexology relaxes the body which can be helpful as an expectant mother prepares for the birth.

It can also be administered as natural pain relief to complement or replace traditional western pain relief during childbirth.

It is important to tell your reflexologist if you think you might be pregnant as they should alter the routine in order to avoid stimulating reflexes known to trigger labour. I am trained to tailor treatments for fertility, pregnancy and to help with labour.

Reflexology can be helpful to relieve the symptoms experienced during menstruation and menopause.
